Gwendolyn Infusino is an award-winning writer, director and producer with a UCLA MFA (2018) in Film & Television Directing/Production and Screenwriting. Her films have screened Palm Springs ShortFest, Hammer Museum, LA Shorts International, CUFF, SFIFF, and abroad in London, Tokyo and more.

Notable work includes Netflix development with Nick Bilton (writer of upcoming Martin Scorsese Film, The Idol) and Tiller Russell (Night Stalker, The Last Narc), directing a short docuseries as Filmmaker in Residence of the UCLA Film & Television Archive, managing the production of an Eleanor Coppola feature film, shooting on Francis Ford Coppola’s live cinema project and teaching film and television directing at UCLA.

Her background ranges from agency advertising for major brands, to curating the first narrative film series ever exhibited at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, where she worked in curatorial to produce over a dozen major exhibitions, including Jeff Koons and Jenny Holzer: Protect, Protect.

Gwen currently analyzes fiction IP for Media Res Studio (Pachinko, I’m a Virgo). She is a jury member for the 61st annual Chicago International Film Festival, and a member of Starlight Media’s (Crazy Rich Asians) Stars Collective Program, a 100M development initiative for emerging directors. She is currently in development on her first feature film, a genre-bending arthouse thriller. 

In addition to her UCLA MFA, she holds a BA in English and Art History from DePaul University, where she graduated from the Honors Program and studied abroad with Louvre Museum curators in Paris.

Based between LA and Chicago, Gwen currently serves as faculty in film directing, production and screenwriting at DePaul University / Cinespace Studios, where she’s now in pre-production on her Project Bluelight faculty film, Noise Gate.
